Image-file evidence (from smashingpumpkins.com) suggests that this guy wasn’t crazy and that, last Thursday night, “Gossamer” was indeed set to return from its lengthy hiatus. It didn’t happen in Vegas, as the band shut things down after only one encore (setlist from spfc.org), but it says here that Phoenix gets wrapped up in 30-plus minutes of soft sheer gauzy fabric tomorrow night.
