JackT of dance-music news site inthemix talked to Kim “The Egomaniac” Moyes of the Presets about The Great Kick-Drum Dust-Up of Aught-Eight. Emphasis is mine:
“Billy Corgan slagged us off on Sunday,” he revealed. “Every time he stopped a song he’d look over and see our crowd having the best time of their lives.”
Moyes then called Corgan “miserable” and “jealous”. (Have they ever met?)
Interestingly, the Presets anticipated these events with the 2005 video for “Are You the One?” (below), in which (from 1:11 to 1:17) two Smashing Pumpkins fans can be seen discussing their V Festival stage selection.

At least the Presets can have a joke about themself, as that video clip demonstrates. Sounds like Bill takes himself a bit too seriously, and can only make jokes about what he is intimidated by.
