The ticket-selling behemoth lists an October 4 onsale date for back-to-back gigs at Gibson Amphitheatre (above) on December 2 and 3. F/k/a Universal Amphitheatre, the large indoor venue seats about 6,000 and hosted a festival appearance by Zwan almost exactly six years prior to this two-night Smashing Pumpkins stand.

(Hat tip to Netphoria user Chuck=Zero for the find!)

UPDATE: Ticketmaster has taken down the dates for now. Look for them to be back up — along with the rest of the tour (!) — probably sometime next week.

    Haha. I hear a bird…

More on topic, 6,000 capacity? Yes, at least two shows, but I thought the 20th anniversary shows were supposed to be larger-sized venues?

does anyone have an idea how much the tickets were when these dates were posted?

  4. jjb Says:

Oh gosh, good question, CA. Why didn’t I look?!

  5. davin Says:

there were no prices listed. and besides, does it really matter?

  6. Cherub Angel Says:

yes davin, it does. Hearing what they are charging in California will give some of just in Chicago and New York how much they are going to charge. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have exorbitant wealth.

They call the hurricane “ike” but it was a total bitch. I had no power for almost a week. But now I’m back to taint this site with my annoying presence!

Really though, can’t believe all these details surfaced while I was gone. Perhaps the world will keep turning once I die too? No, I don’t want to believe that….

Any new info bout that “other” song(s?) that might have been tagged alongside with “G.L.O.W” but Billy was being hush hush bout?

  8. davin Says:
