Jeff Schroeder’s new rig

Here are pictures and a description of a guitar effects system freshly built for Smashing Pumpkins axeman Jeff Schroeder by David Friedman. (Not the anarchist-anachronist- economist David Friedman but the Rack Systems Ltd. operator David Friedman.) As Friedman eloquently puts it:
The path is guitar into the rack wah with a cable,then it hits the gcx with the 6 pedals pictured, the 7th loop is the Axe Fx front end {for pedal simulations} then it goes to the Rm4 preamp.
Well, yeah. You’d have to be pretty stupid to do it any other way.

THC is a chorus, Boss Compressor, Buff Puff is a gain pedal, Naked OD is an overdrive pedal, a micro-synth is hard to explain (youtube it). I can’t figure out what the pedal beside the Boss Compressor is though.

It’s a good thing it was the latter David, not the former. I’d hate to see the guitar effects an economist would come up with.

It’s a ISP DECIMATOR, noise gate pedal which it’s actually not a noise gate but it does kinda the same thing without killing your tone. I’ve got one they’re awsome…
P.D. This is interesting even with that many pedal and probably a loop switch in his rig, He still needs a noise suppresor. humm…..
